Jamie's 7th Birthday
Space, the final frontier! This year we had Melissa around to help design and create a wonderful space-themed birthday for Jamie - from the milky way adorned with planets on the ceiling, down to space costumes and a rocket ship to play in. We were brave enough to attempt a sleepover of 8 children (we might re-think this idea next year!) and the kids had a real blast (pardon the pun!).
Party games included pass the parcel, a planet shaped pinata, and the chocolate game. The latter, in hindsight, was not such a great idea for a sleepover party.
The cake was made by Belinda, as usual. After dinner, the three little ones (Belinda's neice & nephew plus Caitlyn) went upstairs to bed, leaving the five older boys to watch space DVD's and eat popcorn until they finally crashed around 11pm.
Jamie pictured on his birthday present from Mummy & Daddy - his first two wheeled bike. After a few crashes, he soon got the hang of it, with no need for trainer wheels. Well done Jamie!
