Christmas
in St Heliers
| We have spent the last 4 months
renovating our new home in St Heliers and it is now looking pretty
good. We decided to have Christmas lunch at home, joined by
Belinda's mother and her fiance (Barbara & Bob), Belinda's sister
(Karen) and Belinda's niece and nephews (Darryl, Olivia &
Keith). The Auckland weather was great! The two photos below are of Jamie
and Caitlyn relaxing on the window seat in our family room and Belinda
relaxing poolside with a cool drink. Although our spa pool is up
and running, the swimming pool will not be finished until mid-late
January. |

Nana Barbara brought the kids matching outfits for
Christmas; as photographed on the steps of our back garden. Below
is Barbara, Belinda and Karen on Christmas day (spot the white girl in
the middle - some of us don't have time to soak up the sun all day!) |

Gary was in charge of the cranberry & orange chicken
which was cooked to perfection on the bbq rotisserie. Bob made
seafood cocktails for an entree and a lovely trifle and Christmas cake
for dessert. |

Before Barbara and Bob returned to Wellington we enjoyed
brunch together at a beach-front restaurant in St Heliers. Below
is Gary and Belinda at the restaurant and Barbara and Bob looking out
over the beach with the village shops behind. |
